My days typically begin with coffee, breakfast, checking emails. Most of my trips start by packing, grabbing a coffee, getting gas. Before I design I first have ideas, sketches, dreams… all of that is usually over a cup of coffee (or two). Okay so you get it, right? I love coffee.
But how do you start a thing as wide open as a blog? I’ve done plenty of research on topics and ways to begin, and eventually I found myself facing a wall built of my own fears and intimidation.
I'm gonna be honest with y'all - these past couple of months have been rough. Balancing work and marriage and owning a biz, starting new adventures, traveling for family and weddings and vacation... I've been trying to do it all.
Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret. We can't do it all. Not on our own. The Lord has been calling me to rest in His promise that He is already working on all the things. He shields us from the hurt and pain and exhaustion of the world, and He provides a place to rest. It's not easy but it's worth it.
So, here we go. It won’t be easy but if He’s calling me to it, it will be worth it.
